TrainingDog Training Programs – An Overview
Description While we do sell our own fully trained protection dogs, we are first and foremost a dog training center. As a dog training center we offer training for dogs regardless of breed, age (8 weeks +) or where the dog was purchased. As a result you can have the same level of performance with the dog you presently own as clients do who have purchased their fully-trained dogs from us. Of course your dog will need to have the necessary natural ability to do so. Of course, regardless of protection capability, every dog may enter our Obedience program. Functional Results In a field where most training centers seem to focus on dog sports (Schutzhund, French Ring, Belgian Ring, KNPV), or use a sport type approach to training, our focus is very pragmatic: functional results in everyday life. Your everyday life. We define these functional results as simply the ability for a dog to respond with a command said once in a normal tone, and regardless of the situation. That includes obedience, protection and manners. Training For Your Dog Again, we accept any dog into our training program regardless of where the dog was purchased. The only criteria is that a dog have the natural ability required for the program. We determine your dog's natural ability through a comprehensive evaluation. We will be happy to arrange for your dog to be evaluated for our training programs. Clients who bring their dogs to us there is no charge for the evaluation. Fully Trained Dogs For Sale We offer our own fully trained dogs for sale. All of our dogs are breed from imported dogs from Europe. We offer a range in the caliber of dogs (natural ability) we purchase for our training programs. The one common criteria that all share is that each dog is one we would enjoy owning ourselves. Which Breed? For the first time protection dog owner, the first question is usually which breed. For most of our clients it is usually either the German Shepherd or the Belgian Malinois. Within each breed there are differences in appearance, including color and size, which for some may also be a consideration. Other breeds such as the Rottweiler, Doberman and Dutch Shepherd are also available. Which Caliber of Dog? The second choice is caliber of dog. The higher the caliber of dog, the greater the dog's ability (if taught the appropriate skills) to manage a threatening situation. The greater the natural ability of the dog, the higher the price. Selecting the Ideal Dog, we are not alone in our ability to purchase outstanding dogs in Europe. What is unique is as a result of our size, our standing within our field and an affluent clientele we are able to consistently purchase the finest dogs Europe has to offer. We are able to do so in prices ranges few others are able to purchase dogs in. We recommend as the first step in this process of understanding your specific needs that we have an initial conversation followed by filling out our Questionnaire. Typically this is followed by a follow-up call as we begin to understand what the ideal dog would be for you. |
